Las tortugas, en los meses cálidos, acudimos a las playas en las que nacimos en busca de un punto de anidación. Excavamos un nido en la arena con la ayuda de nuestras aletas traseras. Este proceso puede durar hasta tres horas.
Podemos llegar a poner hasta 100 huevos, los cuales incuban durante aproximadamente 60 días. Un dato adicional es que las tortugas laúd emiten sonidos mientras anidan y algunos de ellos se parecen a los eructos humanos.

Turtles, in the hot months, go to the beaches where we were born in search of a nesting site. We excavate a nest in the sand with the help of our rear fins. This process can last up to three hours.
We can lay up to 100 eggs, which incubate for about 60 days. Another fact is that leatherback turtles emit sounds while they next and some of them resemble human burps.
