Sanctuary Assistants<\/strong>

Assistants directly participate in our conservation efforts and at times also help supervise the work. They become part of our local team and have a strong presence in our community, where they assist with social and environmental projects such as beach clean-ups, education programs, and public turtle releases.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<\/div>\n\n

 President:<\/strong> <\/em>Eucebio Medrano Nu\u00f1ez 

<\/em>Eucebio is one of the founding members of La Tortuga Viva and has been part of the team for over 10 years. Belonging to a seasoned family of goat & chicken farmers, Eucebio has been an active and committed member throughout his career, amassing a wealth of knowledge on sea turtle behavior & ecology. In 2020, Eucebio took over as president succeeding H\u00e9ctor Maldonado Romero and Elias Vasquez Ram\u00edrez.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<\/div>\n\n\n
